To create a film for Thomas Cook that stuck in the memory, it made sense to take the viewers on a journey that was – almost – as exciting as the real thing.

Thomas Cook wanted to attract talented people from across Europe to its vibrant Working Abroad team. How? Through a film that wouldn’t only communicate the diverse roles on offer, from entertainers to administrators, but also showcase the incredible opportunity to live and work in some of the world’s most beautiful places.

Our solution was a ‘day in the life’ film – but with a difference.

We wanted to convey the excitement of the roles, so a traditional talking head approach just wasn’t going to cut it. Not only that, but the film’s pan-European audience meant that dialogue wasn’t really an option.

Instead, we created a ‘Go Pro’-style film that takes people on a journey through the fun, fast-paced lifestyle enjoyed by Thomas Cook’s reps. Shot on location in Tenerife, the film demonstrates how life in this team is all about creating amazing memories – and not just for customers.

We launched the video on the Thomas Cook careers site and as part of a social media campaign. In the first two weeks after its launch, the film had over 2,000 YouTube views and more than 100 likes.
