When we set about building a new website for a house-builder renowned for the quality of its homes, we knew the finished article had to be flawless. No pressure, then.
As part of their new brand’s rollout, Redrow tasked us with creating a new website that would increase direct recruitment by 20 per cent, reposition them in the market (as a producer of beautiful homes rather than just a construction business), and that would communicate their brand message loud and clear.
The content needed to be rich, compelling and believable; it had to be easy to navigate and accessible across all devices externally, and easy to manage and maintain internally.
After establishing key messages for business areas, we crafted new copy and selected images that would showcase the famous Redrow commitment to quality. We highlighted their forward-thinking approach, for instance, through parallax-style movements.
Content such as benefits and case studies were tailored to each business area and displayed as rotating sliders at the bottom of the page, adding to the usability. The application process was seamlessly integrated with the ATS, something, we’re told, that is far less labour-intensive, making the lives of people in the resourcing team much, much easier.
Results-wise, applications have increased from 943 in the three months prior to launch to almost 1,900 in the three months afterwards.
