The best way to find out what made Da La Rue’s employees tick, was to speak to them ourselves. So that’s what we did – and it paid off big-time.  

When it comes to internal communications, we’re big believers in getting up close and personal with our clients. So when commercial banknote printer and passport manufacturer De La Rue asked us to create a campaign to highlight its commitment to their employees, we didn’t just take a quick brief over the phone. 

Instead, we spent days interviewing stakeholders at all levels at the company’s Gateshead site. Our main question to them was simply this: what really mattered to them as employees?
