As one of the world’s leading commercial law firms, Clifford Chance is always competing with other top firms for the best trainee talent. And when dealing with this educated and coveted audience, it can sometimes be difficult to differentiate yourself from the competition.
That’s why Clifford Chance came to us for a creative campaign that would help them stand out from their competitors and attract the highest calibre graduates.
We built the campaign around the line ‘Where everything comes together’, which chimed with their brand proposition, ‘Together we are Clifford Chance’. By alluding to complexity and collaboration, it also reflected the complexity of the work graduates do at Clifford Chance and the support they get from their colleagues and the firm.
As part of the campaign, we created an all-new graduate website for Clifford Chance, complete with a number of sharp, stylish videos advertising not only the firm’s graduate and internship schemes, but also its strong culture and values. We also created eye-catching exhibition materials that set infographics against a striking black background.
The website has had excellent feedback, and students and graduates have made particularly positive comments about its clarity and detail. Within just four months, the site already had over 80,000 sessions, each an average of three minutes (a 30-second increase on previous metrics). There has also been a 20% increase in the number of returning visitors.
