Anglian Water has a fantastic reputation as an employer. In 2019, it was voted as the UK’s #1 employer on Glassdoor in 2019 – knocking tech giant Google off the top spot. The problem was, its recruitment website didn’t have the look, feel or functionality of a company that’s so highly regarded as a place to work. It was dated, very static and hard to navigate. It wasn’t mobile-optimised or fully ATS-integrated either.
It was time for something completely different. A digital experience that would enable Anglian Water to showcase what it’s really like to work there and why it’s consistently so highly ranked. Put simply, our challenge was to create a website that was immersive, fresh, intuitive and packed full of features.
The website has features that really help to demonstrate why this is a fantastic place to work – and to highlight the company’s focus on tech and creativity. Think a header video on the homepage. An interactive quiz. Integrated social channels, including an embedded Instagram feed. And not it’s mobile responsive with full ATS integration.
nd it was all designed to WCAG2.1 Level A accessibility requirements too, with accommodation for Level AA. It’s mobile responsive with full ATS integration.
A three-day photoshoot enabled us to generate vibrant original photographs from a range of Anglian Water environments.
The client is thrilled with the new site, which is already starting to generate a buzz and drive improvements in the quality and quantity of their hires.
