RT: @SouthEastTom: @SiLucey@BB_comms@TapsMtutu@Group_GTI Im on board with this thinking as well. However there is a flip side. The perception of video interviews is that it’s quicker and easier so employers may screen more people in increasing diversity. A phone call is done at a set time and date and can be hassle to book in.
RT: @SiLucey: @TapsMtutu@Group_GTI@BB_comms I agree. And crucially it isn't that much less time efficient than video applications. You have to watch a video so you might as well speak to them!
I think both parties get WAAAY more off a 20 min call.
RT: @TapsMtutu: I am still ALL about good old fashioned telephone interviews in early careers recruiting 😊 Its a chance to get a feel on how a candidate will perform in thier interviews! Gives them a human experience too! @Group_GTI#bnews19@BB_comms
