We’re often on the lookout for people to join us. Rule One: you need to agree that people communications is a distinguished, influential and rewarding way to make a living.

Midweight Front End Developer/Designer

Development. Design. Why choose?

You love digital development. But you’re just as passionate about the design side of things. Which means you’ll be in your element here at Blackbridge Communications.

Working as part of a small, nimble team, you’ll be at the heart of our creative process, translating broad conceptual ideas into awesome digital experiences.

We’re looking for a passionate developer/designer who’ll relish the opportunity to create rich, user-focused interfaces, websites and applications for the likes of Heathrow, Bupa and Paddy Power Betfair.

Our clients work with us because we’re innovative. Big on digital. And always thinking ahead. For our people, our vibrant culture is a big draw too. We’re fun, friendly and down to earth.

Underneath it all though is the kind of drive and curiosity that turns every great idea into a truly attention-grabbing one.

You’re someone who always thinks critically about any development work – you don’t just do; you think. You explore different ways of working and you’re not afraid to rework things if you find a better approach. In terms of specific skills, we’d like you to have the following (but it’s not a problem if they’re not a perfect match – it’s more important that you’re a great fit for the team):

Front end development (67%)

  • Solid commercial web development experience (2-3 years minimum)
  • Very proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience using Less/SCSS and ES6+
